We have experience in advising on shareholder rights, strategizing, filing and contesting shareholder litigation.We recently succeeded in a batch of writ petitions challenging the disqualification of Directors pursuant to a constitutional challenge to Section 164 of the Companies Act,2014 wherein the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka, was pleased to hold that the disqualification of a Director under the Section could not be done retrospectively. We have also filed oppression and mismanagement proceedings as against companies and majority shareholders seeking various reliefs.
