UKG: ready for big school
UKG at ANTS
UKG is the last year at ANTS. Children who blended words in LKG now read short sentences and simple books, and write words and sentences on their own. In maths they add and subtract with concrete materials, learn place value, and start on time and money.
We also prepare them for the routines of a bigger school: following instructions, finishing a piece of work, speaking up in front of the class. The year ends with Graduation Day, when they receive their certificates in front of their families.

Both. Children work with genuine Montessori materials, and we combine this with traditional methods such as phonics, rhymes and written work so that they are ready for bigger schools.
Yes. ANTS Montessori Pre-School is recognised by the Government of Karnataka.
Children graduate at our Graduation Day and move on to Class 1 at a primary school of your choice. Teachers are happy to talk with you about readiness for the next school.
