By the grace and blessings of Shirdi Sai Baba, it is proposed to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Sri Shirdi Sai Samaj, Halasuru, on a grand scale which has been a long and glorious journey of last seventy- five years and would like to take the Samaj forward in reaching new heights in the new millennia.
As a Chinese proverb says, "If you are planning for one year, grow rich, if you are planning for ten years, plant a tree, but if you are planning for hundred years, provide education for your children."
In keeping this philosophy in mind by our grand founders, planted a seed seventy five years back, it has grown into a full tree with lots of branches and bears fruits to all its stakeholders.
We are indeed thankful to our founders for sowing the seeds of the Samaj seventy five years ago. We are thankful to the past Management Committee Members for their valuable and untiring dedication to the development and growth of the Samaj.
I am personally thankful to our present Management Committee Members for having their ambition and vision to take this Samaj to greater heights and making me proud to be the Vice President for the Samaj.
It goes without saying that people are the backbone of any organization and we are indeed very proud to have around 1,500 life members in the Samaj family and all contribute to our success in some form or the other.
I would like to end with a Quote of our former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam "Life is nothing when we get everything. But life is everything, when we miss something. Value of the people is realized in their absence only."
As a Doctor, I am happy on this occasion that Sat Guru Sainath has given me an opportunity and pulled me to serve sai devotees who are suffering with lots of problems in health and family life. I assure all of you that I will never rest on my laurels and will keep striding and forging ahead to take the Samaj to the next millennium while retaining our values and principles. On this momentous occasion, I extend my good wishes to all Sai Samaj families and wish the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations.
